Final Showcase, 21 October 2011, All 24 students took to the main stage in the Hawth Theatre for a spectacular showcase to mark the end of the project. They performed songs from the album and some of their favourite covers.

High Street Live, 21 August 2011 – Some of the MIC students were out again for a live gig in Crawley High Street. The first event of its kind saw the historic High Street Closed to traffic with alfresco dining along the cobbled square and pavements. Two stages supplied a continuous music programme from midday until 10.00pm and were sponsored by Crawley Festival and Gatwick Airport Ltd. MIC students played alongside a number of professional bands including London Soul, Fran Classic and The Outfit. http://www.highstreetlive.info

 

Mainstage 2 July 2010 – Crawley’s biggest free outdoor arts and music celebration. Taking place in Memorial Gardens in the town centre on Saturday 2 July from 12.00pm to 5.00pm, the big stage featured all of the MIC musicians with some exciting performances and lots of great music.  The sun shone and there was a great festival atmosphere enjoyed by over 3,000 people.

Hawth Showcase, 15 January 2010 – A second chance to hit the Hawth Studio to a sell out audience. Students performed original material which they have writtenfor the album. It was great to see how much they had learned about improving their performance and how much more confident they all were. They really seemed to relax and enjoy it!

Hawth Showcase,  October 2009. A first chance for the students to perform live in the studio theatre. A chance to work with professional technicians and practice some of the performance skills they have started to develop in the workshops. It went really well and played to a full house.
